Session structure and timing overview
Your 30-minute introduction begins with a complimentary Inbody Composition Test to establish baseline measurements. After orientation you’ll use the CAROL bike — which delivers the equivalent of a 45-minute REHIT session in just 8 minutes 40 seconds — and the vibration plate. You can use one device or combine both; sessions are designed to produce an efficient, gym-grade workload without a membership.
At the end of the 30 minutes you’ll be listed as an Experienced User and can book future appointments at that level. The introductory price is $30; follow-up sessions can be scheduled individually or as part of an experienced user package. This format suits busy professionals, travelers, and commuters from Ellicott City and surrounding communities looking for faster workouts.
How the CAROL bike works
The CAROL bike replicates a Reduced Exertion High Intensity Training (REHIT) protocol by concentrating high-intensity intervals into an 8 minute 40 second effort that the studio equates to a 45-minute session. That compressed format reduces total time spent exercising, but requires brief, intense effort; new users will receive guidance during the introduction to learn safe positioning and effort pacing.
Because the CAROL session is extremely short, many clients pair it with a vibration plate to extend recovery and mobility work without adding long cardio. Choosing a single device saves more time; combining both gives a broader stimulus in the same 30-minute slot. Your choice depends on available recovery time, travel schedule, and personal tolerance for intense intervals.
Vibration plate and recovery benefits
The vibration plate is used to complement high-intensity intervals by targeting muscle activation and circulation. In our sessions we use it to address flexibility and to ease post-exercise soreness; the studio notes improvements in strength, mobility, and circulation when clients include vibration sessions regularly. It’s a low-time investment way to add functional work and support recovery within a 30-minute introduction.
Vibration work is gentle compared with long cardio but may not replace traditional strength training for everyone. For Ellicott City residents commuting from Route 29 or nearby Dorsey’s Search, the short, appointment-based format fits into busy schedules and seasonal variations—expect higher demand in January, February, and September when clients prioritize efficient routines.
