How the Energy Lounger Works
Our Red Light Therapy uses low-level red and near-infrared wavelengths that penetrate the skin. Those wavelengths are intended to increase local circulation, reduce inflammation signals, and support tissue repair processes. At Novum we present this information so clients can weigh how light exposure fits their recovery or skincare routines without expecting guaranteed outcomes.
The Energy Lounger is an open, bed-style setup that allows light to reach larger surface areas while you lie comfortably. Because the device is not enclosed, positioning and distance matter; how much skin is exposed and session frequency are practical factors that shape any response to the treatment.
Session Experience and Practicalities
Sessions take place in a private room where you will be undressed for the treatment. The lounger’s open design makes it easy to get in and out, and appointments are scheduled to fit busy commuter and family routines common in Ellicott City and nearby communities. Sessions are 30 MINUTES and priced at $70.
During a session most clients rest quietly while the red and infrared light delivers steady exposure to the body. There is no invasive procedure or recovery downtime: you can leave when the session ends and continue your day. The staff will explain what to expect and ensure your comfort before starting.
What Shapes Your Results
Results depend on several controllable variables: how much skin is exposed, treatment frequency, your baseline circulation and inflammation status, and concurrent recovery activities. Seasonal light exposure in the Mid-Atlantic matters too—clients often pursue more sessions during low-sun months because natural daylight is reduced in winter.
Practical choices matter: whether you use sessions for routine maintenance, post-exercise recovery, or skincare will influence recommended spacing and duration. Novum’s staff will discuss options that align with your schedule — including convenient access from Route 29, Route 108, and nearby I-70 for commuters — and plan around busier winter months.
